We are a rafting and adventure tour business based out of Taos, New Mexico. We have solid roots in the Big Bend Region…our business started right there on the Ghost Town porch nearly 50 years ago! In the mid-1990’s, Far Flung Adventures sold it’s Big Bend operation and that company retained a very similar name. They are great folks who also offer river tours, but they are not us and we are not them.

We hope that as we move back into the Big Bend Region to continue our long-standing tradition of safe, fun and well-organized wilderness adventures that operating under the name of Further Adventures will help to alleviate some of the confusion that might arise.

You will see the name Further Adventures on our vehicles, boats, and on our road sign at our new brick and mortar location at the Desert Sports outpost. We are excited to pick up where the folks at Desert Sports left off and are looking forward to having Mike and Crystal as friends and advisors in the Big Bend.
