Project Description

New Mexico Mountain Bike Trips

Northern New Mexico is an amazingly diverse part of the country. Ecologically speaking one can ride from high alpine tundra to dry desert lowlands in the matter of hours. Historically speaking, the multi-cultural aspects of New Mexico and their living legacies make it unique among southwestern destinations. If that weren’t enough, this “below the radar” mountain biking destination is one of the best anywhere. The Taos area’s systems, such as the South Boundary trail, are often lauded as some of the best in the country; and up-and-coming wilderness biking adventures such as the Chama Charmer are starting to create a buzz. And that is just the beginning!

Join us for a variety of trip lengths –  our day adventures are perfect beginners or folks on the go, and our multi-day van supported trips allow you to get out and explore the vast wilds with (nearly) every creature comfort.

Spring rides in alpine areas are subject to availability depending status of down trees and snowy conditions. Summer has great weather and open trails but one can expect afternoon monsoon rains.
