Rentals and Shuttles
Our rental options will allow you to experience the Rio Grande on a self-guided float through the Orilla Verde section of our National Monument.
How Our Rentals Work
Enjoy a beautiful and calm scenic float in the craft of your choice. We will meet at our Riverside
property where you will park your vehicle and we will shuttle you up the river and
you will float back to our private beach and your car.

Self Guided rentals are available to novices, beginners and people of most ages and abilities.
All rentals include safety equipment, parking and shuttle service. The 2-hour section is roughly 3 miles and the 4 hour section is roughly 6 miles.
Starting places may vary depending on water levels.
Our rentals begin at 8:00am and meeting times are available every 30 minutes throughout the day.
The latest you may schedule a 4hr rental is 12pm. The latest you may schedule a 2hr rental is 2pm.
At our meeting location we have a small store with sunscreen, hats, drinks, snacks and other odds and ends to make your float as fun as possible.
Shuttle Service
- With Equipment Rental: Shuttle is included for rentals on the float section.
- Without Equipment Rental: Shuttle is not included, but we do offer river shuttles on other parts of the river. Please call to set up a river shuttle.
