As the weather turns slightly cooler and the leaves change, this warm and mellow mid-day float is the best way to experience the rural farmland and multi-hued cottonwood groves of northern New Mexico. This river trip will take you through the Bosque stretch of the Rio Grande, some of the oldest (dating back to Spanish times) and most fertile farmland in the state. The slow winding nature of the river will allow plenty of time for playing in the water or just relaxing and taking in the serenity of the surrounding countryside and canyon lands.
We will meet you at the Pilar Cafe, located 16 miles south of Taos, New Mexico, on State Highway 68-mile marker 28), at 10:00 am. Each trip will include a nice riverside snack*.
